The world of Fortnite continues to gain massive followers with their upcoming World Cup competition which will have a slew of players competing for the ultimate cash prize. Below is the new trailer for the World Cup global online competition.
On April 13, 2019 the 10 week long Fortnite Online Opens begins and players from all over the world are invited to compete. A winner for every week will be chosen and receive a $1 million prize pool.
Once the 10 week long period has concluded, the best competitors in the Online Opens will have their chance to take to the Battle Royale mode and earn themselves a hefty pocket of a share in the $30 million pool.
The World Cup competition will take place this summer on July 26-28, 2019. If interested, future competitors can sign up and learn more at Epic’s official website for the competition. Players can participate in either solo or duo BR game modes.
