Remember how Terror Billy was kicking Nazi asses in two previous Wolfenstein titles? Well, now he is old enough to be a father and meanwhile his daughters are grown enough to kill Nazis as brutal as B.J. did and unfortunately Nazis also have developed enough that tearing them apart need an army of two, this time.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is the tale of a new generation in fighting against Nazi armies that brings player a new gameplay system which we haven’t seen in the series before. As we covered in the latest post about Wolfenstein: Youngblood, the game features non-linear missions and is fully focused on co-op experience either with your friend or AI companion. While the team provided these details on Reddit a few days ago, they also talked about the shipment of the game, especially on digital stores for PC version.
According to Machine Games, Wolfenstein: Youngblood won’t be exclusive to Epic Games Store and will be available on both Steam and Bethesda Store to be purchased. It wasn’t such a surprising news, as we’ve seen the publisher’s policy on Epic Games Store with the previous titles like Rage 2, which is available on Steam right now.
In other news, Machine Games also revealed that some abilities will be separated but there’s a thing called “Pep Signals” that will allow players to help out their companion during combats.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood is set to be released on July 26 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
