Paramount Pictures has cancelled the upcoming sequel for World War Z movie and it was awkward for the fans, but still there is another opportunity to fight against numerous armies of zombies all over the world. Saber Interactive, the studio behind Inversion and Time Shift, is now developing a co-op zombie shooter, inspired by World War Z movie, taking you to different locations of the world to stand against hordes of zombies and survive as well.
World War Z, features 4-player co-op gameplay in which, you will fight against zombies as well as other players in other groups, creating a PvPvZ mode (Player vs. Player vs. Zombie). You will be able to choose your combat class among six provided options that gives you different tastes of the same experience, featuring multiple weapons and explosives. Saber Interactive’s third-person shooter contains up to four episodes, each one set in a distinct location and today we get to see Tokyo map, within a short trailer of the game.
According to the CEO of the studio Matthew Karch, World War Z will feature 11 levels at launch and Tokyo contains 2 missions on the day of release, with one extra mission coming for free during post-launch period. he said:
We’ve had such a positive response to the content that we decided to expand the core game and make four episodes spanning eleven levels available at launch.
World War Z is set to be released on April 16 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game will be Epic Games Store exclusive and for the sake of it’s higher revenue, in comparison to Steam, PC gamers will be able to purchase the game for $39.99.
