Worms W.M.D Receives Free Forts Mode Update

It was announced by award-winning veteran games developer and international games label Team17, that their hit turn-based strategy Worms W.M.D has today received a free content update with the arrival of Forts Mode on PC, Mac and Linux. The free update will also be heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 soon.

“After a successful launch last August Team17 has been continuing to support Worms W.M.D with updates, such as the arrival of the free All-Stars Pack, free Twitch customisation content and the Liberation update. Now they’ve added fan favourite Forts Mode into the mix!

The Forts Mode update includes:

  • All new mode in which to take part in annelid warfare. Defend yourself in your unique fort as you wage battle against your opponents and try to infiltrate theirs!
  • 6 brand new forts: Castle Hassle, Donkey Dig, Reactor, Haunted, Pink Peril and Rocket
  • New customisation rewards to adorn your worms with
  • Brand new crafted weapon, the Magnetised Drone which was designed by a member of the Worms W.M.D community
  • Bug fixes and tweaks

The Forts Mode content is now available as a free Worms W.M.D game update for PC, Mac and Linux and will be heading to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 soon. 

Please note: The Forts Mode update requires Worms W.M.D to play, which is available to purchase for Xbox One via the Xbox Games Store, PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store and for PC, Mac and Linux via Steam.
