First and foremost, the update will feature a new Zone in which the content will be focused. This area, Zereth Mortis, was created by the first ones for the purpose of creating afterlives. described as an ‘alien environment’ it will feature two distinct biomes, one lush, and one dry.
A new raid will be arriving in the game, entitled Sepulcher of The First Ones Raid. It will involve players attempting to uncover the Jailor’s plans for domination by collecting and gathering the powers of the first order. This raid will feature multiple bosses such as Zovaal, Anduin, and the Jailer with more information on the event to be revealed soon.
The player will also find themselves working with a new character type known as the Enlighted, which are automata that were left to watch over Zereth Moris by the First Order. They will speak in a musical language that the player will not fully understand upon their arrival.
The last big update is that tier sets will be returning to the game. With this update, players will be able to collect class-specific armor sets for the many classes in the game. The devs stated that “Each set comes with powerful 2- and 4-piece set bonuses that complement your unique abilities.”
Blizzard is still set to announce more information for the 9.2.0 patch, stating that they would be doing so soon.
