X018: Sea of Thieves Arena PVP Mode Announced

Fans of Sea of Thieves will be able to challenge rival crews in the new competitive mode announced at the Xbox X018 event in Mexico City today for Sea of Thieves, called The Arena, coming to the game as the fifth free free content update since the launch of the game. This new mode will let pirate crews experience fast-paced matches against rival crews to find treasures, and survive the dangerous isles and seas in Sea of Thieves.

The Arena update will also feature a sort of hub world established by a trading company known as The Sea Dogs. Sea of Thieves fans can expect new goals, rewards and opportunities in order to become the Pirate Legend. This content further develops the lack of progression that Sea of Thieves was criticized for.
