Microsoft has officially announced that the previously announced Xbox business update will be held on the official Xbox Podcast on February 15. The podcast will feature Microsoft Gaming head Phil Spencer, Xbox president Sarah Bond, and Xbox president of game content and studios Matt Booty. Whether or not the recent rumors about the company making first party games multi platform will be confirmed or denied in the upcoming episode is yet to be seen..According to a recent statement from Giant Bomb’s Jeff Grubb in a recent episode of his Game Mess Mornings podcast, Microsoft is considering bringing the Gears of War franchise to PlayStation consoles. This comes after a string of rumors and reports claiming Microsoft has a new initiative to bring more of its first party titles to other platforms. Additionally, Xbox Era co-founder Nick Baker has followed up with his recent report to add that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is another title that is being considered for PlayStation 5. However, Baker also added in a response to a question that “if there’s enough push back there’s a chance they don’t completely follow through.”
Additionally, according to a recent report from XboxEra citing some anonymous sources, Starfield is one of the games that will launch on more platforms. Additionally, according to The Verge, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is also being considered for release on PlayStation 5 “some months later” after it launches on Xbox and PC.
