The slate of games for Xbox Game Pass in the first half of September has been announced. These are games coming across both the Xbox family of consoles and PC, making this a pretty busy few weeks on the service regardless of where you play.
Titles coming are the Xbox 360 role-playing game Final Fantasy XIII, though that will be limited to only the first of the three-game trilogy. On top of that, the service will get Surgeon Simulator 2, which will be a day one release for both the Xbox Consoles and PC. Here is a complete list of games that will be coming in the first half of September:
Other notable games coming to the service are the Japanese multiplayer survival game Craftopia, post-apocalyptic rouge-like Nuclear Throne, as well as the musical platformer The Artful Escape which will also be a day one addition. Of course, when no games come to the service, we need to say goodbye to some other titles. Here is a list of games leaving Xbox Game Pass:

Even though Final Fantasy XIII will only be one out of the three, Xbox Game Pass did add the complete trilogy of the classic Quake franchise at the end of August. This is alongside other great games added last month like Hades, Skate 3, and Twelve Minutes.
