Xbox Reportedly Working on a Sequel That Could Take a Decade to Develop

According to Axios’ Stephen Totilo, Xbox reportedly has a mystery sequel in development that could supposedly take a decade to develop. The game in question was reportedly mentioned in court documents relating to Microsoft’s ongoing acquisition struggle. The document, trying to explain how triple-A games take a long time make, states: “For instance, according to one Microsoft executive, [redacated], a forthcoming title from the [redacted] franchise, may take a decade to develop.” Several fans are hinting the game in question may be Bethesda’s upcoming The Elder Scrolls 6, which, according to Todd Howard, is “still being in a design [phase]“
