Before Microsoft officially announcing its ongoing plan on launching next-gen console of Xbox in Holiday 2020, some rumors were pointing out Xbox Scarlett as a console with two models. However, recently it’s been revealed that the plan has been changed and Scarlett will be launching as a single model, again by rumors. Today, another rumor with new details showed-up again, claiming that the previous plan might not be gone yet.
According to Brad Sams, Xbox insider, Microsoft’s plan for next-gen devices includes another console along with Scarlett, which will be fully focused on streaming. Sams claims that Microsoft has replaced the cheaper console’s policy by a streaming-only device that comes with lower price and capabilities compared to Scarlett. This model will only be a connection way to xCloud and it’s expected to have a price tag of $60 to $100, which makes it a competitor to Google’s Stadia. You can find out more details in the video below:
While we strongly suggest you to take it with a grain of salt, the new plan fits into Microsoft’s focus and vision on extending the fields and capabilities for stream-only platforms.
