While the price might just be a placeholder, a partnership between Xbox and Monster Energy drink might have confirmed the rumored 599 USD retail price for the Xbox Series X. Monster Energy will sell Halo Infinite-themed cans of their energy drink, in the can, the company teased that the total of all ‘first prizes’ is 119,998 USD, there will be 200 first prizes awarded if divided, each winner will receive 599 USD.
SWEEPSTAKES 1sT PRIZES (200): There are two hundred (200) 1st Prizes (each, a “1st Prize” and together with the Grand Prizes, “Prize”) available to be awarded. 1st Prize winners (“1st Prize Winners” and together with the Grand Prize Winners, “Winners”) will receive one copy of the Halo Infinite Video Game and one Xbox Series X Console.
The Total ARV of all 1st Prizes is $119,998. The 1st Prize and its manufacturer’s suggested retail price have not been released to market at the time of print of these Official Rules. Any difference betweenstated value and actual value will not be awarded.
Xbox Wire’s Editor in Chief Will Tuttle recently confirmed that Xbox Series X will launch in November, the specific release date has not been revealed, SEGA’s Yakuza: Like a Dragon, a launch title for the next-gen console is launching on Thursday, November 12, potentially confirming the launch date. Interestingly, SEGA’s leak is in accordance with a recent rumor about PS5 launching on November 14 in Japan, followed by a worldwide launch on November 20. If the alleged leak is to be believed the PS5 will cost $500.
