In a recent Twitter post from the official XDefiant account, Ubisoft announced that its upcoming FPS XDefiant will no longer launch by the end of March. The publisher revealed that the delay is as a result of necessary improvements that still need testing. In the post, the publisher also announced that a 12-hour Server Test Session will be coming soon for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A specific release date for the Server Test and a new release date for the game has yet to be revealed. “This game has always been community-first, with player feedback as a top priority. Said Ubisoft, “While we hoped to go live by the end of March, there are still some improvements that we need to test before that. We’re finishing preparation for a 12-hour Server Test Session that will be worldwide on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The goal of this test is to stress our servers and get critical data to prepare us for launch.”
