Yakuza series, one of the long-running franchises on Playstation, is going to be fully remastered on PS4 by release of Yakuza 5 and today the publisher of the game announced with a new trailer that Yakuza 5 Remaster will be available in Japan on June 20.
After Yakuza Studio remastered all of the titles within franchise during recent years, Yakuza 5 is the only remaining game that has not made its way through PS4 yet, but now you can be sure to play it on PS4 by the end of Spring. Although the game is going to be released in Japan, western version of it couldn’t take so much time to be available. Also, it’s probable to see PC version of Yakuza 5 Remaster, as well as other titles of the series.
Yakuza 5 Remaster features 5 different characters with 5 distinct stories that get connected to each other as you progress in the game. Here you can check out the latest trailer of the game:
Yakuza 5 was a PS3 exclusive game that released in 2013 and received mostly positive reviews from the media for it’s expansive world containing a lot actions to do, along with a rich story to follow in crowded streets of Japan. 2 years later, the game became available in western countries but it the Remastered version seem to be released for western players on PS4 sooner than a yearly period.
