A leak earlier this month gave fans an ESRB rating for the remake of Sega’s Yakuza 2 – Kiwami 2 – which appeared to be heading over to the PC. And with the first Kiwami seeing success over on the PC platform, Sega has officially announced that Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be heading over to the PC via Steam next month.
Check out the new PC Kiwami 2 trailer below:
The Kiwami 2 remake on PC will come equipped with new features, such as 4k resolution, customizable controls and the ability to unlock frame rates – along with a plethora of other graphical options – for smoother gameplay.
It seems there’s plenty of news regarding the Yakuza franchise lately, with the spin-off Judgment hitting the west this June, a new Yakuza title still in early development and plenty of remasters of the older entries making their way over to modern systems.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 for the PC is slated to release on May 9, 2019 on Steam. Players can pre-order the PC edition and receive the Clan Creator Bundle DLC for free, which includes exclusive weapons, outfits, and much more.
