Sega announced that the final three Yakuza games yet to make their way over to the current gen consoles will do so, and will be heading overseas as well. While Yakuza 3 Remastered has just been made available on the PlayStation Store, Yakuza 4 and Yakuza 5 Remasters have also been confirmed for western releases later this year and early on in 2020.

Sega also revealed that upon the release of Yakuza 5 next year, the Yakuza Remastered Collection which includes Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 will release digitally alongside a “very limited run” of physical copies. Currently, the PS4 now has Yakuza’s 1 through 3, Yakuza Zero and Yakuza 6. Soon enough with the releases of Yakuza 4 and 5, the entire main Yakuza series will be available on the PS4 for those who may have missed the series the first time around.
In other news, Sega also pulled back the curtain on their new IP, a real-time strategy title – Humankind. The new title will allow players to relive and create new civilizations across the entire history of mankind with a broad and strategic sense of gameplay. Between the Yakuza Remastered Collection which brings over the remaining Yakuza titles not on the current PlayStation to the modern era, and their new ambitious strategy title, Sega is beginning to hit stride in what they deliver best.
While there’s no current release date planned for Humankind, fans can enjoy reliving the massive saga within the cult-favorite Yakuza series once the final three titles land on the PS4 later this year, and by the beginning of next year in February.
Yakuza 4 Remastered is set to release on October 29, 2019 in the west while Yakuza 5 along with the Yakuza Remastered Collection will release on February 11, 2020.
