The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima have turned into two tough riddles for all PlayStation 4 owners which makes fans angry. Since last year’s E3, Sony is hiding itself from making an appearance in any popular gaming event. They cancelled last year’s PSX, they ignored E3 2019 and they will be skipping Gamescom 2019 as well. This is going to be a full year of absence for the owner of the best-selling gaming console of the current generation, while there are projects that people need to know more about.
To be honest, Sony’s policy isn’t a user-friendly one. They announce games way earlier than their release dates and this is wrong. The same has happened for The Last of Us Part 2. Probably the most anticipated PS4-exclusive title of current generation with no new detail since June 2018. Only things we’ve been getting since then are just some quotes from the game’s voice actors, and here is a new one from Troy Baker, who believes that we’re not ready for the game. Are you kidding me, Mr. Baker?
There is nothing about this game, nor the reveals, that hasn’t been one hundred per cent carefully crafted and methodically curated. All I can tell you is that as much as you’re clamouring for it, you’re not ready.
Obviously, Sony doesn’t have the ability to manage its big projects or make them in the same lines as the company’s policy. It’s what we can understand from Sony’s absence for over a year at gaming events.
Anyway, while we have no clue on the release date for The Last of Us Part 2, some rumors claim it might be launched in February 2020.
