YouTube has Officially Arrived on Nintendo Switch

The rumors were true, the popular online video streaming platform YouTube has arrived to the Nintendo Switch, as Nintendo revealed today the launch of the YouTube app for the Nintendo Switch in a Twitter post on their official Twitter page.

Check out the twitter post by Nintendo, about the release of the YouTube App for the Nintendo Switch:

You can download the app for YouTube on the Nintendo Switch eShop, but you’ll have to manually search for it for now, and it appears that the app was launched worldwide, so it doesn’t matter if your Nintendo Switch is from another region. The YouTube app for the Nintendo Switch just takes 93.32 MB of space, and supports Joy-Cons and touchscreen input. The design of the YouTube app is identical to the one that is available on the Playstation 4 system.

This app can be downloaded for free, and users don’t need an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription to access it, thankfully.
